East Midlands Leads on Anaerobic Digestion

A new renewable energy locator tool has revealed that the East Midlands produces more electricity from anaerobic digestion than anywhere else in England and Wales. We also make a relatively high percentage of our gas from renewable heat generation, have the fastest growing onshore wind capacity, and a higher than average number of solar PV installations. However, we’re still only 7^th out of the ten regions in a list of who is producing the most renewable energy.
