Nottinghamshire Community Energy Fund Open for Applications

A Nottinghamshire community fund is officially open and has up to £20,000 to give away in grants.

Nottinghamshire Community Energy generates renewable energy locally and is owned collectively by members of the local community. All of it's profits are put back into community projects.

The fund is encouraging charities, not-for-profits, schools (non fee paying only) and community benefit societies based in the City and County to make an application and secure a grant of between £2,000 and £5,000. They are looking to fund projects that will reduce fuel poverty, improve energy efficiency or provide renewable energy. Match funding is also looked at favourably.

Applications close on 30th September.
