On 16th December, Chesterfield Borough Council passed a motion giving their support for a Plastic Free Chesterfield and a community working together to address the issues of single-use plastics.
To help combat plastic pollution crisis, Plastic Free Chesterfield are striving to make Chesterfield an accredited Plastic Free Community. But they need your help to achieve this status! They are encouraging Chesterfield residents, schools, community groups, charities, churches, community centres, and more to take the Plastic Free Pledge.
