We need to switch away from single-use plastic food packaging, but did you know that some packaging is coated with PFAS? Per- or Poly-Fluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFAS) are a group of over 4700 industrial chemicals that is used in everyday products. They can take over 1000 years to break down and can be toxic to wildlife and humans.

Plastic Free Chesterfield are proud to present Fidra, a charity campaigning to take action on PFAS. Here, you'll find out more about PFAS and what you can do about it.
