Date:
Wed, 25/03/2020

Wednesday 25th March, 7.30 - 9.30pm
West Bridgford Methodist Church

Recently, there has been an increased sense of urgency in talks surrounding climate change as more people and government officials begin to recognise the gravity of the crisis. It represents the biggest threat to human society we have seen in recent times. But just how bad are things really? And what can we do about it? This is a free public talk which aims to raise awareness and tell the truth about the current environmental crisis. Members of Extinction Rebellion Nottingham will share the latest climate science on where our planet is heading, discuss some of the current psychology around climate change, and offer solutions through the study of social movements. This talk will include discussion of worst-case scenarios if urgent action is not taken, so it is recommended for a 16+ audience.
