Can measuring sustainability on farms offer a solution to climate change?
Almost half of our land is now used for agriculture. At present, there is a lack of a common way of measuring the sustainability of our food and farming systems globally. This makes it difficult for farmers, food companies, and consumers to understand where they can make improvements to be more sustainable.
In SFT’s first TEDx Countdown event, they will showcase their harmonised metric for measuring on-farm sustainability and illustrate how it could be applied on a global scale. You will hear from some of the world's leading thinkers in food, farming, policy, and retail.
