Greenwood Days Development Week

Date:
Mon, 28/05/2012 - Fri, 01/06/2012
Greenwood Days, Ferrers Centre, Staunton Harold, Leicestershire, LE65 1RU
£5 a day to cover the cost of food. This can be claimed back against any course booked at Greenwood Days during the year.

Greenwood Days is set in a beautiful 100 acre wood in the growing National Forest. The centre promotes woodland and greenwood crafts through traditional and contemporary activities.

As part of the centre’s annual development week anyone is invited to come along to help improve the centre by adding new facilities. The plan this year is to improve the kitchen area creating shelves and enclose the eating area, weaving low walls with sawn Ash laths. The main focus is to make a clay bread oven which will hopefully incorporate a drying chamber. If all goes well there will be a chance to make pizzas and fresh bread during the last few days.

The centre’s owners promise ‘good company, some new skills learnt and good fun over the week.’

Please let staff know when you want to come so that they can plan the week’s activities: www.greenwooddays.co.uk / peter@greenwooddays.co.uk / 01332 864529 / 07946 163860
