Newark Transition

 

Newark Transition covers Newark and surrounding neighbourhoods, and is aiming to raise awareness of peak oil and the need to create a more sustainable economy

We are involved in the raising of awareness of Peak Oil and the need to ‘power down’ over the coming years to create a sustainable local economy which is not reliant on fossil fuels. Our group is growing by the week, presently 14 members. Our immediate plan is getting Newark Transition into the public eye and building its membership.
