The aims of Transition Buxton:
We aim to make the transition in Buxton from reliance on oil and other fossil fuels, which threaten to severely damage our climate, towards an environmentally sustainable, more satisfying, low-carbon way of life.
Past campaigns/activities/work:
We have held a range of awareness-raising events, such as film screenings, skill-sharing events and workshops on topics such as growing fruit and veg and beekeeping, visits to local sustainability projects, and visioning events to help us imagine a low carbon future for Buxton and plan how we'll get there.
